To reduce congestion, advance reservations are required to use the parking lots.

Chichibu-ga-hama Beach is called the "Salar de Uyuni" of Japan,
and during the Golden Week holidays of 2023,
the surrounding area is expected to be very crowded.

Therefore, in order to alleviate congestion in the area and to ensure the safety of our guests, we will be restricting entry to the parking lots in the Chichibu-ga-hama Beach area.

There are some "temporary parking lots" that do not require reservations, but they are located at least 20 minutes on foot from Chichibugahama.
All parking lots adjacent to Chichibugahama Beach require advance reservations, so reservations are recommended.

How to make reservations in advance for parking

For those coming by car, rental car, motorcycle, or regular taxi

①Reserve and purchase advance reservation tickets online.

Credit card payment only.
②When you receive an acceptance email, your reservation is complete.
③Please check in at the designated Chichibu-ga-hama Parking Lot on the reserved date and time.

Fees

2,000 yen per passenger car (under 5m) (tax included)
［ Reservation for one parking space / Includes one 500 yen coupon
that can be used at participating restaurants and gift stores in Chichibu-ga-hama. ］

*Up to two motorcycles can be parked with one ticket (in one space).
*The same applies to rental cars and taxis.
*The fee listed above includes the Chichibu-ga-hama Support fee.

Available reservation time

May 3 - May 7, 2023

① 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
② 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Maximum 290 vehicles each time slot.
Vehicles should be out of the parking lots by the scheduled times.

Reflection photography is possible at the tide pools at low tide. Unlike in the evening, this is the recommended time for group photos and portraits, as faces and poses can be seen clearly in photos during the daytime.

② 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Reflection photos can be taken at the tide pools at low tide. The recommended time for silhouette photos with the setting sun is at around 18:50.

Entrance and registration starts 30 minutes before the reserved time.
On site, you will receive your ticket and discount coupon for use at participating stores in the area.
It is possible to leave and re-enter during the allotted time.

Vehicles should be out of the parking lots by the scheduled times.
Reservations will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be closed as soon as they are sold out. Reservations can be made on the day of the event if available.

Ticket sales may be cancelled at the discretion of the organizer due to unexpected natural disasters or other matters related to customer safety. In such a case, the organizer will not be responsible for any travel expenses, accommodations, or other expenses that you have arranged.

Please note that ticket cancellations or changes due to personal reasons cannot be made after the application has been made.
Please understand that ticket cancellations and schedule changes are not possible in the event of weather conditions such as inclement weather or rain.

About the Chichibu-ga-hama Beach Support Fund

"Aiming to create the most beautiful beach in Japan."

We have been protecting the beach for 25 years. "Chichibu-no-kai"

Chichibu-no-kai was established in 1995 to protect the beautiful beach.
Initially consisting of seven local volunteers, the group now has more than 100 members.
On the first Sunday of every month, members volunteer to clean up the beach to maintain its beauty and nature.

This fee will be used for environmental improvements, such as making the beach barrier-free, to create a sustainable environment that both guests and the local community can be proud of.
